GOC Care is a leading Community Service Provider serving individuals throughout the Brisbane Metropolitan area, Brisbane North, South, and the Gold Coast. As part of our Community Services and Aged Care Programs, you will assist clients in living fulfilling, independent lives at home and help them engage more fully with their local communities. We work closely with clients in Brisbane, North Brisbane, and the Gold Coast, enhancing their health and wellbeing and enabling them to remain in their homes.
Role Essentials
Current APHRA registration
Registered Nurse qualification
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eligibility to work in Australia
Current Australian Driver’s License
Willingness to travel between Gold Coast and Brisbane locations

Key Responsibilities
Delivering Clinical Care:
Provide both direct and indirect clinical care, including assessments, medication management, and complex wound care. Continence management, falls management, dementia care, palliative care and creating and reviewing Care Plans in partnership with clients. Management of chronic health conditions in line with Evidence Based Practice. Ensure care is delivered respectfully, honoring customers’ rights to choose and control their care.
Clinical Delivery Supervision and Staff Development:
Supervise both clinical and Care Worker team members in delivering clinical care. Contribute to the performance management and development of Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses, focusing on timely care within a consumer choice environment.
Clinical Governance and Quality Management:
Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality consumer-directed care in alignment with GOC Care’s service goals. Participate actively in risk management, workplace health and safety, and quality practices.
Administration:
Maintain transparent and accountable records of service delivery. Strive for excellence in recordkeeping within client management systems to support effective reporting, information sharing, incident reporting, and accurate invoicing.
