Tuk Tuk cook in Progress, an established Asian Restaurant in Trinity Beach, is seeking a Chef to join our culinary team in delivering outstanding food across Coffee, lunch, Dinner. This is a rare opportunity to showcase your creativity.
JOBS:
*Wok
*Grill
*Fryer
*Pan
Main Duties:
1. Supervise kitchen operations and ensure meals are cooked and presented correctly according to the menu, including working across the grill, fryers, cold section, gas stoves and food pass.
2. Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency, and follow a daily cleaning schedule to meet council rules.
3. Planning menus, managing food costs and budgets, and working with the management to solve kitchen or food preparation issues.
4. appropriately used.
5. Store food items correctly to keep them fresh and safe.
6. Check and record fridge and cool room temperatures, and store raw food in the right way.
7. Stay up to date with new cooking techniques, recipes, and trends in the hospitality industry
