Role:
Kent is currently seeking a highly motivated Full-Time Higher Education Administrator on a Full Time Basis. This role will be based at our Melbourne Campus (CBD - Queen Street) and will report to the Executive Dean (Teaching and Learning). The Higher Education Administrator is responsible for the administration of academic service provision for both staff and students resulting in effective and efficient course delivery in Higher Education.
Key Tasks:
Provide course advice and co-ordinate certification processes
Assist with the assessment of exemptions in accordance with Kent policy and procedures
Liaise with various personnel at all Kent campuses regarding course delivery administration
Assist with the implementation of student surveys
Prepare stationery order and submission for purchase
Manage the preparation of student graduation transcripts and testamurs
Report identified computer hardware, software issues or faulty equipment matters to the IT staff
Assist in scheduling and staffing classes, academic courses and associated administration, including managing submission of timesheets for casual lecturers.
Maintain student records including: attendance, results and graduation through the Student Information System (SIS)
Assist with the management and training of staff involved in enrolment
Participate in and assist with enrolment activities and undertake review of course credit transfer applications
Assist with new students’ orientation program
Desirable:
Postgraduate qualifications
At least 2 years’ or more experience in similar role
Student Information Systems (RTO Manager) program knowledge
