Your Opportunity
We’re seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our Mount Isa depot, a key regional hub known for its mining industry, strong community spirit, and rugged outback landscapes. In this role, you’ll keep local schools in top condition, maintain public facilities, assist in emergency response efforts, and contribute to major community projects. You’ll also work closely with our government partners to identify opportunities and expand QBuild’s services, supporting the continued growth of North West Queensland.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid Carpentry qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry) – if you're not qualified, this role isn’t for you
Hands-on skills and a commitment to quality workmanship
A strong focus on safety, both for yourself and your teammates
A willingness to use digital tools (yes, even tradies need to check emails!)
A passion for sharing your knowledge and supporting apprentices as part of building the next generation of skilled workers
