We’re seeking an experienced
Contract Administrator to support the delivery of commercial fitout and refurbishment projects valued between
$1M–$10M. The intial project in a University Library in the City. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected builder with a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence.
About the Role You’ll be responsible for managing all contractual and financial aspects of the project lifecycle, including:
- Preparing and managing subcontractor packages, scopes, and procurement
- Administering head and subcontractor contracts, including variations and progress claims
- Managing project budgets, cost reporting, and forecasting
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
- Supporting the delivery team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
About You You’re a seasoned Contract Administrator with:
- 5+ years’ experience in contract administration within the commercial construction sector
- A strong background in fitout and refurbishment projects (essential)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work autonomously
- A solid understanding of construction contracts and financial reporting
