The Opportunity

Bridgeman Downs Retirement Village is a close-knit community set amongst beautifully maintained gardens and grounds. Home to 180+ independent retirement living units & apartments, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our gardens and grounds throughout the village. Working closely with our residents, you will ensure our gardens are well-maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy. If you enjoy being outdoors, take pride in garden & lawn presentation and enjoy chatting with others, this is a great opportunity for you!

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7-3pm

Your Impact:

• Working with the fellow Gardeners to maintain all village gardens including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching and green waste removal
• Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors
• Carry out preventative groundskeeping tasks around the community as per schedules
• Complete additional adhoc tasks delegated to you by Community Manager (e.g drive our minibus on occasions)
• Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with well-maintained areas.

What you'll bring:

• A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
• Experience in Gardening duties (highly desired)
• Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)
• Valid driver's licence (required). Bonus points if you have an LR license!
• Two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
