We have opportunities for Physicians to join our team in a casual or part-time capacity at our new clinic in Mandurah. In this role you will alongside our Principal Investigators to provide medical support for the conduct of clinical trials. Prior experience in clinical trials is not necessarily required as full training and support will be provided.
This role is focused on the care, safety and co-ordination of participants in clinical trials and in this role you will be responsible for:
Ensuring that the clinical trials are conducted according to ICH GCP, our clinic SOPs and other regulatory requirements.
Understanding information contained in the Investigator's Brochures and adherence to the Clinical study Protocol.
Confirming that participants satisfy the inclusion & exclusion criteria for clinical trials.
Explaining the purpose, nature and safety aspects of clinical trials to prospective participants, and obtaining consent to participate.
Interacting with participants, performing physical examinations, recording their medical histories, reviewing and interpreting results.
As the successful candidate you will:
Be a qualified medical doctor with current APHRA registration, and have a minimum of 2 years of post-graduation medical experience.
Be an Australian citizen or have work rights in Australia.
Be able to work as part of a small, close-knit team, and be willing to perform other clinical trial duties, as required.
Have excellent oral and written English language skills.
Have meticulous attention to detail and be able to multi-task.
Possess well-developed computer skills including with Office apps.

This role is ideal for local GPs with an interest in clinical research. If you are available to do a minimum of 2 sessions per week (e.g., 8 am to 12 noon), then we would love to hear from you.
