About Us
Hillside Meat Processors (HMP) is a well-established export meat processing plant located two hours south of Perth, in the Wheatbelt region.
We take pride in producing premium-quality meat products and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Licensed Plumber (or equivalent experience) to join our maintenance team.
The Role:
As part of the site maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems and fixtures across the plant.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining and repairing water, drainage, and sanitation systems
Working with hot water boilers, washdown and irrigation systems
Maintaining effluent treatment and food processing equipment
Assisting with general building maintenance and production support
Working safely around livestock and food production areas
About You
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is safety-conscious, and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential:
WA Plumbing Licence or relevant industry experience
White Card / Blue Card
Minimum 3–5 years’ plumbing experience
Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical
Australian citizenship or permanent residency
Highly regarded:
Experience with EuroPress or INOXpres stainless piping systems
Leak detection and repair skills
Work at Heights, Confined Space or Forklift tickets
Previous experience in food processing or industrial environments
