About the Role

Are you a hands-on plumber who thrives on solving problems, taking ownership, and working across diverse commercial site across Inner Melbourne & West.

At New Plumbing Solutions (NPS), we’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join our growing team.

What You'll Be Doing

We service factories, industrial properties, apartment buildings, and common areas, with a focus on reactive maintenance, preventative inspections, and hydraulic systems. If you’re proactive, keen to learn, and enjoy variety in your day, this could be the role for you.

• Performing reactive and scheduled maintenance on commercial and apartment sites

• Diagnosing and fixing issues like:

o Roof leaks, stormwater blockages, burst pipes

o Hot water systems, PRVs, pumps and sewer systems

o Bathroom fixtures and general plumbing across properties

• Backflow prevention and TMV testing (if certified)

• Liaising with clients and site contacts – strong communication is key

• Using tools of the trade: power tools, hand tools, ladders

• Participating in the on-call rotation (optional, with $$ earning potential)

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have:

• Registered Plumber (Victoria)

• White Card

• Valid Driver’s Licence

• Backflow testing experience or licence

• TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) testing certification

• Experience with maintenance plumbing on commercial sites (mandatory)

• Confidence working independently and client-facing

Highly Regarded:

• Working at Heights certification

• Familiarity with PRVs and hot water plant maintenance

• Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (preferred)

Hours & Flexibility

• Standard hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm
