Space Floorcoverings are looking for an experienced commercial flooring Project manager with 3+ years' experience working in the commercial floorcoverings sector, who is positive, passionate and hardworking to join our team of commercial flooring specialist. Our office is located at Bowen Hills.

Qualifications & experience

• 3+ Years Experience in commercial flooring Project Management is essential.

• Applicant is required to be based in South East Queensland

• Knowledge/experience with Measuresquare/estimating software ideal (training provided)

• Knowledge/experience with Word, Excell & Projects required.   

• Experience in building strong relationships with clients/builders. Existing client base is essential.

• Extensive labour contacts within the commercial flooring industry. 

• Excellent time management and organisation skills and strong attention to detail

• Excellent written, mathematical and verbal communication skills

• Ability to take direction, be proactive, use your initiative and listen to the advice of your peers

• Ability to show initiative, work independently and as a part of our team

• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm to excel in your workplace

• Confident and looking to exceed in all facets of your work

• Ability to work flexible hours, when needed

• Strong planning (look-ahead) skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• Forging strong relationships with builders, flooring representatives and sub-contractors 

• Price jobs based on scope of works, construction plans and tender documentation

• Ensuring tenders meet company target margins and agreed timescales

• Managing and tracking project tenders and follow-ups

• Processing variation pricing and submissions

• Working alongside the Project Management Team to ensure jobs are run smoothly
