Due to business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and focused Senior Financial Accountant to join this high performing team. Reporting to the Head of Finance this role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:
Month-end processing, including journal entries, accruals, reversals, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reviews.
Half-year and year-end reporting.
Annual financial statement preparation.
Preparing and analysing financial and management reports with value-added insights for senior management.
Managing and compiling annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
Preparing year-end audit work.
Overseeing and reviewing work completed by Junior Accountants.
Tax compliance, including BAS, payroll tax, FBT, and income tax.
Business partnering with the operations team.
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years of experience, ideally as a Senior Accountant with some experience in a commercial accounting capacity within a large, complex business and looking to take the next step. You will have the ability to work autonomously, have a can-do attitude, be highly organised with great attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills.
