SAS Smoke Alarm Service is a trusted local business providing smoke alarm compliance and maintenance for residential properties across South-East Queensland. With more than 20 years of industry experience, we’re known for our high safety standards, great customer service, and strong team culture.
We’re expanding and looking for a motivated Smoke Alarm Technician to join our Springfield Lakes and Logan teams.
About the RoleThis is a full-time role suited to someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and interacting with people. You’ll be installing, testing, and maintaining smoke alarms in residential homes throughout the greater Springfield /Logan / South Brisbane area.
No previous industry experience is required, we’ll provide all the training, tools, and resources you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and service smoke alarms in residential properties
Ensure compliance with Queensland legislation and Australian Standards
Record service details and complete compliance reports
Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants and property managers
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
No prior experience necessary – full training provided (although we welcome industry experience)
Great communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude
Reliable and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail
Valid QLD driver’s licence (this role involves travel between jobs)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
$60,000 + Superannuation
