ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you ready to take the lead in one of Australia's most pivotal energy infrastructure teams? We're looking for a Regional Field Services Manager to join our Power Projects division and provide leadership across the construction of high-voltage (HV) substations in South Australia. In this strategic role, you will be instrumental in delivering critical energy projects that shape the future of sustainable power.

As Regional Field Services Manager, you will lead field-based HV substation construction resources based out of our Underdale office. You'll drive safety, quality, and productivity performance while ensuring projects meet contractual, financial, and stakeholder expectations.

Your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Oversee and direct regional field construction teams to ensure the safe and high-quality delivery of high-voltage substation projects.
• Ensure adherence to Downer's Zero Harm safety culture and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Work together with project managers, engineers, and clients to achieve delivery milestones and performance goals.
• Provide leadership in workforce planning, managing industrial relations, and overseeing subcontractor activities.
• Assist with resource planning for new projects throughout the feasibility, tender, and delivery phases.

ABOUT YOU

You are an accomplished field operations leader with a proven history of successfully delivering complex infrastructure and energy projects. You motivate high-performing teams and excel at managing stakeholder relationships in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• A strong background in HV substation construction or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and drive project outcomes.
• Working knowledge of OH&S, environmental, and quality compliance standards.
