Job description:
Do you enjoy hands-on work and servicing customers face to face?
Our Hudson Trade Centre in Mitchell, ACT is on the lookout for a reliable and flexible team player to join us as a Trade Yard hand on a full-time basis.
Operates a 38-hour work week Monday to Friday, either a 7am - 3pm or 8am - 4pm schedule, you will be responsible for picking and packing orders, serving customers, loading trucks (some heavy lifting required) and keeping the yard clean and well organised.

What you will be doing:
- Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department
- Serving customers - helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
- Operating forklift, loading and unloading trucks
- Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
- Putting away stock, mainly timber and associated products
What you will bring:
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus
- Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
- Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
- An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
- Forklift Licence is essential
