The multi award winning Grand Hotel in Childers QLD is looking for an experienced cook or chef that's a got a knack for cooking perfect steaks. Afterall we are home to the famous Mongrel Menu including the 1kg Big Bullock Rump Steak!
We're a privately owned second generation true-blue Australian owned pub known for great food and great times!
If you've got experience cooking a-la-carte menu in a pub, club, cattle station, restaurant or cafe we'd love to hear from you. This job is fast-paced and not for the feint hearted! We're talking up to 150 covers per session.
Formal quals are a bonus but we've seen some of the best cooks come with years of experience and not much else - that works for us too!
If interested in relocating we offer heavily subsidized on-site accommodation with own room, aircon and wifi in a secure environment.

Working with Kitchen Manager and established team
