Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager - Premium Casual Dining – Char Char Chicken
Char Char Chicken is opening soon, and we’re looking for a Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to lead our new fast-casual chicken shop. With a menu of charcoal, rotisserie and fried chicken, plus burgers, wraps, gourmet salads and sides, we’re serving a growing community of families, workers and locals.
Located at Watagan Park Town Centre in Cooranbong, this brand-new venue sits near the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie — just a short drive from both Newcastle and the Central Coast. It’s an easy commute and a chance to work in a stunning lifestyle location close to home.
About the RolesLead daily operations: service, rostering, stock control, ordering, reporting
Mentor, train and motivate a team to deliver consistent, friendly service
Ensure speed, quality and presentation meet brand standards
Manage and update POS systems and promotions
Work with the Head Chef and Group Management on performance, marketing and community engagement
Monitor sales, wages, food costs and KPI performance
Lead by example during peak times and resolve customer issues directly
Proven experience as a Restaurant/QSR Manager or Assistant Manager in a busy hospitality environment
Strong background with POS systems, online ordering and digital menus
Energetic, customer-focused, and happy to work side-by-side with your team
Organised and commercially savvy with rostering
Confident with IT, detail-oriented and proactive with processes
Eligible to work full-time in Australia
