We're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Perioperative Setup Enrolled Nurse to join our warm and dynamic Perioperative team.


In this role, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients before and after surgery
• Work closely with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
• Apply your knowledge of day surgery processes and procedures
• Communicate confidently and clearly with patients, families, and colleague

ABOUT YOU:
As an experienced and detail-oriented Enrolled Nurse in a perioperative setting, you will bring the following strengths:

• Demonstrate efficiency and accuracy in setting up theatres for surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments, equipment, and consumables are prepared and available in line with surgical requirements and aseptic principles.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, maintaining focus and adaptability amidst changing surgical schedules and clinical needs.
• Possess a sound understanding of surgical instrumentation, infection prevention, and safe handling practices to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre staff, contributing to a well-coordinated and seamless perioperative experience.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate equipment logs, stock rotation, and instrument tracking - experience with Meditech or similar clinical systems is highly regarded.
• Champion patient safety and uphold high standards of care through adherence to hospital policies, WHS protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
