About the role

Seeking a dynamic, service-oriented individual to join our team at Doncho's Cafe as a Food & Beverage Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our café. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering a memorable dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming customers, providing friendly and attentive service

• Preparing and serving coffee to a high standard

• Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner

• Restocking and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, food preparation surfaces, and service equipment

• Assisting with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met

• Processing customer payments accurately

• Reporting any maintenance or customer service issues to the supervisor

• Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting your colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a café, restaurant, or similar setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including weekends, and public holidays

• A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and service

• Appropriate food handling and/or barista qualifications, or a willingness to obtain them
