We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our civil earthworks company based in Bunbury.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient management of the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and timely entry into MYOB.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries.
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting.
- Support general finance and administrative duties as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role
- Proficient in MYOB (essential)
- Experience in construction, civil earthworks, or similar industries (desirable but not mandatory)
- MEX experience advantageous
