Join the culinary team at Builders Arms Hotel, one of Melbourne’s most iconic venues within the Trader House family. We’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Hand / Kitchen Porter to support our chefs and help deliver exceptional food experiences to our guests.
You’ll be part of a passionate and professional kitchen team that values precision, respect, and good energy. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.
What you’ll doAssist chefs with food preparation and kitchen setup
Keep kitchen spaces spotless and well-organised
Operate dishwashing equipment and manage kitchen waste
Support service periods by ensuring everything runs smoothly
Contribute to a supportive, team-focused atmosphere
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure
Experience in a busy hospitality environment (preferred but not essential)
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
