About Us
Based in Rydalmere, this locally based large wholesale manufacturer is a key supplier to the retail market and manufacturer a variety of internal and external window coverings products.
The successful candidates’ main duties will be to assist production with assembling a variety of internal and external blinds and awnings. Ie: Roller Blinds, Duette Blinds, Verticals, Aluminium Venetians Blinds etc.
This role requires you to ensure that all deadlines and production expectations are met and is an ongoing casual role working Monday to Friday 38-hour week with a transition to full time employment after a successful 4-months.
Hours of operation
- Monday to Thursday 5am – 1.30pm
- Friday 5am – 11.30am
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Assembling a variety of internal or external blinds & awnings
- Cutting, punching, and machining aluminium
- Use of basic hand-tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Working in a team to assist with daily production requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Previous assembly experience
- Positive attitude with an eye for detail
- Confidence in measurement and accuracy skills
Ideally the suitable candidates will have recent experience with the assembly of products in a manufacturing environment.
