Alliance Extra Staff is seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to support a healthcare facility in the Goulburn Valley region on a temporary full-time assignment for approximately 8–12 weeks starting ASAP!. This role requires someone confident in a fast-paced environment, committed to high standards of food safety, and available 5 days per week within a 7-day roster between 0700–1600.

Alliance Extra Staff is seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to support a healthcare facility in the Goulburn Valley region on a temporary full-time assignment for approximately 8–12 weeks starting ASAP!. This role requires someone confident in a fast-paced environment, committed to high standards of food safety, and available 5 days per week within a 7-day roster between 0700–1600.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and deliver high-quality meals in line with dietary and texture-modified requirements
- Maintain accurate food safety, temperature, and hygiene records
- Ensure all kitchen, service, and food preparation areas meet infection-control and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the broader kitchen team to ensure smooth daily service
- Adhere to food safety regulations, kitchen procedures, and workplace health and safety standards
- Previous experience as a Cook in healthcare, aged care, or a commercial kitchen
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of food safety and dietary requirements
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently in a busy setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Mandatory compliance requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Working With Children Check
- Flu Vaccination (2025)
- COVID-19 Vaccination – highly desired but not mandatory
