Your new role:

As a Clinical Psychologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital, you'll provide expert psychology services across diverse medical streams within a collaborative, multi-professional team. This includes:

• Conducting detailed clinical assessments, patient education, therapeutic interventions, and assisting with discharge planning.
• Providing clinical education and supervision to observational students, allied health assistants, and undergraduate students.
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.
• Managing your caseload effectively, maintaining accurate patient records, and reporting service statistics.
• Ensuring patient-centred, culturally sensitive, and compassionate care in line with service quality and safety standards.

About you:

We are seeking a psychologist committed to professional growth and delivering exceptional patient care, with skills including:

• Provisional or general registration as a psychologist; postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology and/or Clinical Neuropsychology is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to deliver patient-centred, evidence-based psychology assessments and interventions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate within interprofessional teams.
• Capacity to develop clinical expertise through active learning and professional development activities.
• Ability to participate in clinical education, supervision, and the training of students.
• Skills in contributing to service improvement, research, and the implementation of evidence-based clinical protocols.
