About the role
Goodyear Autocare Gosford is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team in West Gosford, NSW. This is a full-time position that will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our busy automotive workshop. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of vehicles to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing
Performing routine maintenance and servicing on a variety of makes and models
Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical and electronic issues
Test driving vehicles to ensure all work is completed to a high standard
Maintaining detailed records of all work carried out
Providing exceptional customer service and advice
Assisting with the training and development of junior team members
What we're looking for
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
A passion for providing exceptional customer service
A current driver's licence and your own tools
