Your Opportunity
We’re seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Mount Isa depot, where you’ll install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems across schools, public buildings, and housing facilities. Your work will be vital in ensuring comfortable and To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification (Certificate III in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration)
A current Refrigerant Handling Licence
Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a focus on quality workmanship
A commitment to workplace safety and compliance
A willingness to use digital tools (yes, even tradies need to check emails!)
A passion for mentoring apprentices and passing on your skills
