Draftsperson

OGTEC provides turnkey solutions to the Resource Recovery Sector. We are a market leader in the automated separation of waste materials into high quality recycled materials.
OGTEC is currently seeking a skilled, motivated and experience Draftsperson to join our high performing team in our Wetherill Park office in Sydney.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Design of recycling plants including conveyors, access platforms, chutes and hoppers using Creo or SolidWorks, and designing from concept to completion
Create and review fabrication drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
Ensure our designs adhering to the relevant Australian and ISO standards within the industry
Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in a manufacturing environment
Other Skills/Abilities
· Highly competent using Solidworks or Creo 3D CAD in a workshop steel fabrication environment
· Creo/Solidworks certifications in Weldments, Sheet Metal, Advanced Modelling would be preferred
· Solid design, component selection and product evaluation / validation experience highly desired
· Knowledge of steel fabrication methods essential
· Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
· Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
· Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
