The primary purpose of this role is to manage the daily operations of the Outside School Hours Care Program (OSHC) through the provision of high-quality care, supervision of staff, liaison with parent, visitors and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
The Coordinator will facilitate the delivery of services within the policies and procedures of the organisation, assist with the development of the program in line with the My Time Our Place framework, and facilitate the implementation of the quality improvement plan.
The Coordinator will provide supervision and support staff in developing their childcare skills to provide a safe caring environment for young people that acknowledges and strengthens their cultural identity to allow them to develop their full potential and build self-esteem and confidence; and cares for the social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of young people.
