Active Conductors Electrical is a Sydney-based commercial electrical contractor delivering high-quality projects for some of Australia’s leading builders. We’re a small but fast-growing team, and we’re now looking for a motivated Electrical Estimator who wants to grow with us — not just fill a seat.

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly alongside the business owner, contribute ideas, help shape our systems, and progress into a management role as the company continues to expand.

Based at our Artarmon office, you’ll play a key role in tendering, estimating, and coordinating a variety of commercial and fit-out projects across Sydney.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing project documentation and attending site inspections

• Preparing competitive tenders, budgets, and cost plans

• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

• Preparing project handover documentation for delivery teams

• Contributing to process improvements and company growth initiatives

We’re looking for someone who’s driven, detail-focused, and excited to grow with a business.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator (commercial or fit-out projects preferred)

• Electrical and/or communications trade qualifications (advantageous)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Competency with Microsoft Office and digital estimating tools

• The ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team

• Experience with SimPRO, Groundplan, or Bluebeam (advantageous)

• Understanding of structured cabling systems / ICT infrastructure and lighting control systems (preferred)
