You’ll lead and mentor a high-performing accounts team, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. As a key advisor to the COO and leadership team, you’ll bring subject matter expertise, operational excellence, and a passion for delivering financial services that set us apart in the strata industry.What you will be doingLeadership & Guidance• Participate in management team meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making• Provide expert advice on compliance, risk, and financial strategy• Champion best practices in strata accounting aligned with the Strata Schemes Management ActPeople & Resource Management• Lead and develop a team of accountants and accounts service officers• Manage workflow, deadlines, and portfolio allocation across the accounts team• Identify training needs and foster a culture of continuous learning• Act as the first point of escalation for client concerns related to financial services• Promote inclusive behaviour and uphold internal service standardsClient Accounting• Maintain a small portfolio of high-value or strategic clients• Ensure timely and accurate client reporting, including quarterly financial management reports• Oversee AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end processes• Support new client onboarding through financial setup and coordinationStrategic Planning & Execution• Drive improvements in budgeting, forecasting, investment and loan management• Lead initiatives to enhance client reporting and financial service delivery• Implement technology and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to elevate the client experienceHere’s what you will bring to the tableRequired• University degree in economics, commerce, business, or accounting• CPA or CA qualification• 5+ years’ experience in a senior financial managerial role• Proven leadership and team development experience• Strong financial planning, forecasting, and analysis skills• Advanced spreadsheet and database capabilities• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills• High attention to detail and a sense of urgency• Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability• Deep understanding of P&L drivers and their operational impactPreferred• Strata management industry experience• Familiarity with strata financial operations and compliance requirements• Experience with Excel macros, Visual Basic, or Power BIWhy you will love working with us!• Competitive Salary – Enjoy a package that reflects your expertise and leadership• Hybrid Work Flexibility – Balance working from home with time spent in our dynamic office environment• Monthly Team Socials – Participate in fun team-building activities to connect and unwind• Growth Opportunities – Join a rapidly scaling company with room to shape your career• Work with Industry Leaders – Collaborate with top professionals in Strata Management• Vibrant Team Culture – Be part of a collaborative, supportive team that celebrates successReady to Lead the Way?If this sounds like your next leadership opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
