The Healthy Environments and Lives (HEAL) Global Research Centre, part of the Health Research Institute (HRI) at the University of Canberra, is dedicated to building a healthier and more sustainable future through strategic collaboration and research. Our interdisciplinary team addresses pressing public and environmental health issues, including chronic diseases, climate change, and pollution.

We are seeking a dynamic Communications and Knowledge Exchange Coordinator to support the HEAL National Research Network and other national and international research projects. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a strong knack for knowledge exchange and research promotion.

Key Responsibilities include –

• Coordinating and scheduling HEAL’s communications across various platforms, including websites, social media, email and newsletters.
• Engaging stakeholders and collaborating with UC media, marketing, design, and web teams to manage and improve communication channels.
• Seeking opportunities for HEAL researchers to engage with policy stakeholders, industry and community organisations.
• Facilitating interactions between HEAL researchers and stakeholders, and providing support for HEAL events, including conferences, roundtables and workshops.
• Keeping clear, up-to-date records of relevant documents and other information products in shared folders.
