Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of hoses and fittings, with a network of over 400 service locations across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific region. Offering a 24/7 mobile service, they provide reliable support whenever it’s needed, day or night.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a Mobile Hydraulic/Hose Service Technician to work at either their Clyde or Blacktown branch.

This role will see you use your automotive or mechanical skills (fitting/machining, welding, plant mechanic etc…) to deliver a high-quality hose repair service to our customers. There is lots of variety in the role as you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing operational maintenance of machines, overhauling/repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment along with much more.

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Duties:

·       Mechanical assembly, disassembly, and reconditioning of pumps and components

·       Painting, sandblasting, and hot works preparation of equipment

·       Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment

·       Assist with warehouse duties when required (loading/unloading using forklift)

·       Conduct inspections and complete service documentation accurately

Field Service Duties:

·       Perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of Vogelsang products at customer premises

·       Provide technical support and customer training on correct use and care of equipment

·       Carry out scheduled servicing and emergency breakdown response

·       Ensure compliance with site-specific safety protocols and procedures

·       Represent Vogelsang with professionalism and strong customer service at all times
