Purpose:
To provide administrative support for the procurement department through forecasting, inventory monitoring and ordering to ensure that the company has the necessary stock levels. To raise purchase orders and manage procurement records.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Stock Maintenance:
Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained by monitoring sales data and identifying purchasing needs.
Raise purchase orders with suppliers.
Record and maintain accuracy of backorders
Check and update listing prices.
Update and maintain WMS for all purchase orders and shipments.
Track orders to ensure timely delivery and liaising with relevant stakeholders when there are delays in the supply chain, ensuring all information is updated to reflect new delivery dates.
Maintain accurate records and filing of invoices and contracts.
Support finance departments to process payment to suppliers.
Analyse sales data to identify clearance products according to company guidelines.
Product Acquisition:
Continuously maintain and expand company product knowledge to effectively make purchasing decisions.
Assist in building relationships with external vendors for procurement by effectively networking at trade shows and fairs as well as in the online space.
Procedural Development:
Liaise with key industry stakeholders to ensure our pre-order purchasing process and ETAs provided to customers are regularly monitored.
Contribute to improving company workflow by cultivating and suggesting opportunities for new processes or attributes, including compiling team feedback for further improvements.
Develop policy and procedure documents.
Multi-Department Support and Administration:
Perform ad-hoc administrative duties to provide further support to additional departments as required.
