For more than two decades, this trusted family-owned builder has delivered quality modular residential and commercial projects across Tasmania. With continued growth, a reputation for excellence, and a genuine care for both their team and valued customers, they are seeking a capable Procurement Officer to join their close knit team in Westbury.

THE ROLE
As Procurement Officer, you will coordinate day-to-day procurement activities and manage strong supplier relationships to support multiple modular projects. From raising purchase orders to tracking materials and costs, you will ensure timely, cost-effective supply and accurate procurement processes in collaboration with the Commercial Manager, Client Liaison, and Pre-Construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate procurement schedules aligned with project timelines
Support supplier negotiations, pricing updates, and delivery planning
Read and interpret plans, contracts, and costing sheets to inform purchasing
Raise and manage purchase orders, invoices, and records in the accounting system
Track job costings and report against budgets
Maintain accurate data and documentation across procurement systems
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve supplier performance
Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with project outcomes
ABOUT YOU
You are an organised, proactive professional who enjoys working with suppliers, managing details, and supporting smooth project delivery. You communicate clearly, stay on top of multiple tasks, and take pride in accuracy and reliability.
You will bring:
Experience in procurement or supply chain coordination (construction or manufacturing highly regarded)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Confidence reading plans, contracts, and financial reports
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting or procurement systems
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
