Do you love working with fresh food and leading a great team?
We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager with deli experience to help drive our Deli Department to the next level.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and inspire our deli team to deliver exceptional service every day
- Oversee fresh food stock, including meat, cheese, antipasti, and prepared meals
- Ensure perfect product presentation and rotation to maintain freshness and quality
- Share your product knowledge and provide advice to customers
- Help drive sales, manage inventory, and support operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with food safety, OHS, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a deli, food retail, or fresh food environment.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate a team!
- Passion for fresh food and a genuine customer-first approach.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Tech-savvy with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
