MEGA Resources has a strong focus on safety, reliability and performance. We are building our Project and Asset Support Division and seeking skilled trades to grow with us.
About the Role
Working as part of our field service team, you will service multiple MEGA Resources projects across WA. You’ll be provided with a fully equipped field service boilermaker support truck and play a hands-on role in the repair, overhaul and rebuild of buckets, blades and dump trays across our mobile fleet.
Your responsibilities will include:
Structural repairs, maintenance, and rebuilds of mining equipment attachments
Fabrication and welding to a high standard in line with site requirements
Planned and breakdown repairs to minimise equipment downtime
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Contributing to the growth of MEGA’s boilermaking division
About You
Trade qualified Boilermaker / Welder
Proven experience with heavy mobile mining equipment (buckets, blades, trays)
Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Excellent communicator
Current MR Licence (required)
HRWL, Working at Heights & EWP tickets (desirable)
Roster: FIFO roster from Perth to MEGA Resources projects
Contract: Permanent Full-Time
Work Location: Mt Celia and Rama Gold Mines
Salary: Great hourly rates – $70 to $85 per hour (casual rates also available)
