Steelarc Engineering is a locally owned and operated business based in Mackay, Queensland. We specialise in providing high-quality fabrication and maintenance services across various industries, including mining, ports, sugar, and manufacturing. We are looking for experienced Site Boilermakers to join our site services teams, in this role you will be working across various sites in Fixed and mobile plant maintenance, shutdowns & ad hoc work, on average working 3- 4 days per week.
Trade qualification
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
Proven skills in fabrication of light to heavy fabrication and earthmoving fields.
Experience in fabrication, machining, and repairs on all types of plant and equipment for mines, sugar, ports, and agriculture industries.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum of a Queensland C Class Driver’s Licence
Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
Current Confined space & Working at heights certificates
Additional Licenses – Any RII’s or HRL’s held are advantageous.
Experience – Proven background in both field maintenance and project work.
Safety Compliance – Adherence to all safety protocols and standards.
Previous Mine Site Experience & Inductions – Desirable for site-specific tasks.
