About the role
We are looking for a part-time Administration Assistant to join our team at the Kuranda Neighbourhood Centre in Kuranda, QLD. As an Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our organisation and delivery of vital services to the local community.

Key Skills & Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
Experience with MYOB AccountRight Plus.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail in financial and administrative tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Experience with budgeting and grant processes (desirable).
Familiarity with community services or not-for-profit environments (preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Respond to phone and email enquiries with professionalism and care.
Maintain the cloud-based file system and digital records.
Use MYOB AccountRight Plus for monthly invoicing, supplier invoice entry, managing accounts payable and receivable, and allocating job codes to entries.
Prepare & scan timesheets and supplier payments for fortnightly processing.
Handle cash payments and banking.
Prepare tax-deductible donation receipts.
Prepare and present reports for Board meetings and Annual General Meetings.
Prepare for the Annual General Meeting.
Collect Membership forms and fees.
Assist Manager and Board members with the preparation of an annual budget.
Assist with grant applications and acquittals.
Support the Manager and other staff with Centre activities.
Order and maintain supplies for the Centre and events.
Manage the room booking calendar.
Provide information and assistance to the public.
Other duties as directed by Management.
