Qualifications & experience
Qualified Accountant with at least 1 years of experience working in Australia.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
Proficient in using Xero, XPM, QBO and MS Office.
Experience in public practice is preferred.
Xero certified is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Tasks & responsibilities
Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and super funds.
Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS).
Perform end-to-end bookkeeping functions including employee payroll, PAYG withholding, superannuation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare business management reports.
Attend to clients and take instructions.
