We offer a stimulating and supportive atmosphere where children can explore, learn, and thrive operating between 7am and 6pm.
We have an opportunity for passionate and enthusiastic Educators to join the team. We are searching for those who are keen to join a team dedicated to building creative, inspiring, and supportive learning environments for children in the heart of Cairns City.
Our Educators are offered above award pay rates + the 10% Government retention funding
Your Role:
As an Educator you will work collaboratively with the management and educational team to support and implement a creative and thoughtful curriculum for children across the service.
Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for the children, families and fellow team members.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and the community.
Collaborative implementation of Early Years Learning Framework Version 2.
Work to establish a meaningful curriculum across all rooms at the centre.
Support fellow educators to document the play-based learning environment.
Located in the Cairns CBD, our service has a community feel and a strong commitment to providing early education and care of a high standard. We are looking for Educators who are confident to work within a team environment, having professional relationships and communication with families and co-workers to provide children with a positive and nurturing early childhood experience.
The successful applicant must have the following:
Working with children check - Blue Card
Current First Aid, CPR, and anaphylaxis management training
Current First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management training
Cert III / Diploma of Children's Services or working towards.
Available to work 5 days a week, rostered hours between 6:30am-6pm
Knowledge of NQS and EYLF.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required (sponsorship not available)
