Location: Amaroo, ACT
Licensed Capacity: 107 places
Hourly Rate: $38.09 – $39.34 + benefits (WT 5A.1 to 5.4)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Educational Leader for a 6-month fixed-term contract (14/06/2026) at Busy Bees at Amaroo. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead curriculum development and inspire educators while supporting quality outcomes for children and families.
Key responsibilities include:
Driving educational programs and practice across all rooms
Mentoring and supporting educators with planning, observation, and reflection
Championing the EYLF, NQF, and Reggio-inspired approaches
Collaborating with the Centre Director to lead improvement plans
Supporting transitions, documentation, and compliance initiatives
What You’ll Need
Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
Proven experience leading curriculum and mentoring teams
Sound understanding of pedagogical leadership and critical reflection
