Site Foreman – High-Rise Residential

Position Summary

The Site Foreman will oversee day-to-day site operations for a dual-tower high-rise apartment development. You will coordinate trades, ensure construction milestones are met, manage safety on site and uphold the company’s quality standards. This role suits an experienced Foreman with strong high-rise or large-scale residential experience.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management & Coordination

• Manage day-to-day onsite operations across both towers.
• Coordinate and schedule all subcontractors, labour, deliveries and inspections.
• Ensure construction activities progress in line with the project programme.
• Oversee site inductions, toolbox talks and daily site briefings.

Quality & Compliance

• Uphold high construction standards and ensure all workmanship aligns with specifications and building codes.
• Conduct regular quality checks and rectify defects promptly.
• Maintain site records, daily diaries and progress reporting.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Implement and enforce WHS protocols across the site.
• Conduct risk assessments and actively manage safety issues.
• Promote a safe culture across all subcontractors and site personnel.

Stakeholder Communication

• Report regularly to team on progress, challenges and resourcing needs.
• Liaise with engineers, consultants, inspectors and certifiers as required.
• Maintain strong subcontractor relationships to ensure smooth workflow.

Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years of construction site experience, including at least 3–5 years in a Foreman capacity.
• Prior experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 Builder - highly regarded.
• Proven experience on high-rise residential or large-scale apartment projects (preferably 10+ storeys).
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction sequencing and trade coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Solid WHS knowledge with the ability to enforce compliance onsite.
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced program-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification (Carpentry or similar) preferred.
• White Card (mandatory).
• High-rise experience highly advantageous.
• Supervisory licence (where applicable in QLD) preferred.
