Loving Start is a brand-new childcare centre in Healesville, VIC, dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for young children. We are looking for the following roles:
Room Leader
Educational Leader
These roles can be combined for the right candidate or separate. We are looking for passionate early childhood educators to join our team.
About the Role:
As the Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). This role involves guiding a team of educators, fostering strong relationships with children and families, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
As the Educational Leader, you play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and the centre’s philosophy. This role supports and mentors’ educators to improve pedagogical practices, ensuring children receive meaningful and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. This role has 7.5hrs planning ensured, with 1 full day off the floor.
These roles are great opportunities for experienced early childhood professionals to step into leadership positions.
About You:
Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
Experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting (2IC, Educational Leader, or Room Leader preferred).
Strong knowledge of childcare regulations, compliance, and best practices.
Experience using childcare management software (Xplor, Storypark, or Educa).
Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Passionate about early childhood education and supporting team development.
