PERSOL is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Property Officer for a NSW Government Department. This role is based onsite in Parramatta, temporary assignment until Feb 2026 and supports the delivery of property-related services within a client-focused environment
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will manage a high volume of property transactions, ensuring services are delivered with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy.
- Deliver consistent and high-quality real estate services, including residential property sales and purchases.
- Manage transactions using an online property management system.
- Liaise with real estate agents, solicitors, strata managers, and other external stakeholders.
- Coordinate property matters with internal teams, clients, and beneficiaries.
- Provide advice and support on real estate issues across various service areas.
- Handle sensitive client interactions with discretion, particularly during emotionally challenging circumstances.
- Organise property clearance, repairs, and administrative tasks prior to sale.
Skills and Experience:
The position focuses on residential property sales and purchases (primarily sales), and requires a minimum of three years' Australian residential sales experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Adaptable and resilient, with a proactive approach.
- Proven experience in residential property sales and a sound understanding of the conveyancing process.
- Ability to manage emotionally complex situations with professionalism.
- Proficient in computer systems and able to adapt to older platforms.
