They work on both residential and commercial projects from supply to install; providing a one-stop solution for their clients and each bespoke project.  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead an experienced team of three, including work allocation.

• Manage tender invitations and quotation requests while overseeing estimating works for the business.

• Determine the scope of work for each project, including the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor.

• Prepare estimates for planning, organising, and scheduling project work.

• Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.

• Collaborate with the operations team as necessary on projects.

• Direct communication with clients, builders, and project managers.

• Manage service orders including site repairs and warranty claims.

Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel a must

• Knowledge and understanding of estimating in the built sector

• Well organised and team player

• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written

• Somebody looking to take a step up in their career into a Lead Estimator role

• Knowledge of textiles, furniture or window furnishings highly desirable
