About the role

Resair Climate Control is seeking a talented Engineering Drafts person to join our dynamic team in North Melbourne, VIC. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality drafting and design support to our engineering department, contributing to the development of innovative climate control solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software

• Collaborate with engineers to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate and functional designs

• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and company specifications

• Contribute to the development of new product designs and the improvement of existing systems

• Assist with the creation of product documentation, including installation manuals and user guides

• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to coordinate the production of components

• Stay up-to-date with the latest drafting techniques, software, and industry regulations

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Engineering Drafting or a related field

• Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks

• Demonstrated experience in preparing technical drawings and schematics for the engineering industry

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders

• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
