Rider Bros MTA has been running out of Calder Park Raceway in the northwest for 19 years. We are a motorcycle school that trains and tests students for motorcycle Learner permits, Check Rides and Licences on behalf of Vic Roads. We are a family-friendly business, with a relaxed atmosphere dedicated to providing motorcycle safety to Victorian riders.
Only weekend positions are available currently with potential for midweek shifts
Qualifications & experience
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE40110
Full unrestricted Victorian Motorcycle licence
Previous experience in the industry or an education industry would help but is not required
Must be able to work autonomously and within a team environment
Must have a positive and friendly attitude
Passion for motorcycles with consistent riding experience history
Basic mechanical understanding of motorcycles to perform daily inspections, fueling, and cleaning as required
Current first aid certificate
Current police check or willing to obtain one
Tasks & responsibilities
Provide training courses and assessments as set out by the Vic Roads curriculum including Motorcycle Learner Permit training and assessment, Check Ride Coaching sessions and Motorcycle Licence assessments
One on one coaching to both Licence and non Licence holders
Ensure the safety of all students participating in courses at Rider Bros MTA
Follow company guidelines and procedures according to the Vic Roads BPM
Maintain a professional manner in the workplace
Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to including workplace health & safety
Strong communication skills are essential as your role is to provide training and clear direction to your students
