Our client
Our client is a boutique high-end travel agency where tours and experiences are tailored to individual interests, schedules, and budgets. Every holiday is designed to be as unique as the customer.
They are now seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join their friendly team, working 30 hours per week with a highly attractive hybrid arrangement - 2-3 days in the Ballan office and the remainder from home.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Assist customers to plan, choose and arrange their holidays
- Provide advice on destinations, attractions, events, and customs
- Work within customer budgets and present detailed quotes
- Advise on visas and passports
- Prepare promotional material and attend trade updates when required
- Engage with accommodation, airline, and transport providers
- Work face-to-face with clients as well as liaise with the company's offshore agents
- Manage bookings with accuracy, showing strong administration and attention to detail
About You
To be successful, you must have previous experience as a Travel Consultant (or in travel administration) along with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You'll have a genuine passion for helping clients book their dream holidays while delivering exceptional customer service.
Desirable skills include:
- Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre GDS experience
- Strong knowledge of both Australian and international travel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to work occasional overtime (with mutual agreement)
