Cloncurry is a Multipurpose Health Service that has 15 acute care beds, 10 Aged Care beds Community Health Centre, X-Ray department and Pharmacy. Visiting services include Child Health, and Immunisations, working closely with Central West Queensland Medicare Local, Centacare and Blue Care. A range of visiting specialists include Paediatrician, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, General Surgeon, Woman's Health Nurse, Renal Nurse Practitioner.

About the role

As an Enrolled Nurse at Cloncurry Multipurpose Health Service, you'll play a key role in providing safe, compassionate, evidence-based care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Midwives. In this role, you will: 

• Work collaboratively with RNs, Allied Health, and visiting specialists to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
• Support and mentor Assistants in Nursing while contributing to a positive team culture.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Engage respectfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Requirements

• Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
• Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
• This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
• A period of probation may apply.
