Welder / Fabricator - Chassis Manufacturing
Location: Campbellfield
Salary: $40 - $45
Hours:
Monday to Friday ongoing 7am - 3.30pm
Dayshift - Must be Flexible for OT when required
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our reputable client, specialising in high-quality chassis production. This role involves MIG and Arc welding, chassis fabrication, and component assembly, with a strong focus on workplace safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality welding and fabrication as per drawings.
- Inspect welded products to ensure high standards.
- Assist with cutting, machining, painting, and assembly as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Follow all OHS procedures and company policies.
Skills & Experience:
- Cert III in Fabrication/Welding (preferred but not mandatory)
- Forklift licence (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in MIG and Arc welding - essential
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with plasma cutting and robotic welders (desirable).
Please note you will be required to complete a weld test prior to commencement.
