This is a hands-on workshop role focused on delivering high-quality welded components and finished products across custom and production runs. You’ll work closely with our design and production teams to move specialised products for the warehousing sector and bring the concepts to life.
Key responsibilities include:
TIG & Mig welding
Manufacturing products from technical drawings and custom specs
Welding various gauge material
A trade assistant performs fabrication tasks, although from time to time you will help
Collaborating with other welders and trades for seamless project execution
Providing feedback to improve design and fabrication outcomes
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a strong eye for detail, pride in workmanship, and the ability to self-manage quality and deadlines.
Essential Skills & Experience
TIG & Mig welding proficiency
Experience in sheet metal and tubular fabrication
Comfortable with plate gauge and thin gauge welding
Strong understanding of technical drawing packages & fabrication (although not overly technical)
Initiative-taking and collaborative mindset with a focus on high-quality outcomes
